I’m Mariam Saleem, and I run Outfits Bundle. The short version of why it started: I hit my early thirties, opened my closet one Tuesday morning, and realized I didn’t actually like almost anything in it.
Not because the pieces were bad. Because none of them were mine. They were versions of outfits I’d screenshot from other women, other bodies, other lives.
So I did something a little obsessive, which is kind of my nature. I pulled everything out, laid it on the bed, and sorted it into two piles: things I put on and felt like myself, and things I put on and felt like I was performing.
